Koppers Holdings Inc. Board Declares Regular Dividend, Sets Annual
Meeting and Record Dates

PITTSBURGH, PA, Feb 03, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- The Board of Directors of Koppers Holdings Inc. (NYSE: KOP) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.22 per common share, payable April 5, 2010, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on February 16, 2010.

Koppers also established a record date for its 2010 annual meeting of stockholders. Koppers stockholders of record at the close of business on March 16, 2010 will be entitled to notice of the annual meeting and to vote upon matters considered at the meeting. The annual meeting will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 5, 2010.

Koppers will send a definitive proxy statement to stockholders of record, which will contain important information about the meeting and the matters to be considered. Stockholders are urged to read the proxy statement when it becomes available.
