In January 2010 Ms. Baldwin was appointed as the Vice President and General Counsel for The Pennsylvania State University located in State College, Pennsylvania. Ms. Baldwin is a former Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice. Prior to her service on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Justice Baldwin served on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas for 16 years. Justice Baldwin has received numerous awards including Distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania and the Athena Award. She remains active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, Homer S. Brown Law Association, the National and International Associations of Women Judges and the International Women’s Forum. Justice Baldwin was Chair of the Board of Trustees of her alma mater the Pennsylvania State University from 2004-2007 and is a Trustee Emerita of Duquesne University where she attended law school. |
